Strand me inside consequence
take me out of common sense
rip up all self confidence
then I will be free

Take away duplicity
steer me to simplicity
strip the things that cannot be
jump me past this fence

Warp my words to healing thought
tilt this brain to things untaught
net philosophies uncaught
lead me through to see

Show me what I haven't learned
hand me fires to be burned
lend me love that won't be spurned
I need no recompense

Mend me from the insides out
hide me from the slivered doubt
light a lamp that shines throughout
a landscape changed for me.
